Funk

And not in the good sense of the word. I know I need to snap out of this and keep up with my best efforts. I am currently skipping the gym, which is not good. Obviously I work out a ton and it's fine, but I am worried that maybe the gym is the only thing to keep my weight from sky-rocketing. Again - not logical, but my fear. I do have a valid excuse, I'm trying to deal with registration for next semester and am dealing with hurdle after hurdle. Isn't stress supposed to tighten the band, where's my restriction?

BAH.
/end whine session. Can't help it. Feel free to ignore me.

Angie, Angie, Angie! I am so sorry that you are in a funk right now. My only suggestion is for you to not to skip the gym too much. I know that when I am stressed it is the last thing I want to do, but those times that I suck it up and go - I feel so much better. Do you think you need a fill to help get some restriction back? Whatever you can do to be proactive...

I know that people say weight is just a number and shouldn't determine your mood - that is true - however it is so hard to really understand that.

Try to focus on the progress that you have made - which is incredible. Please look back at your posts and reflect on the positive and how good you felt. Also, never forget how much of an inspiration you are to so many of us out here! <3

Sending you a big hug and an a$$-kick to get you in the gym! :)

BTW, those skinny girls are no competition for you. You are beautiful AND have an amazing energy, personality, etc. They are the ones who should worry about the competition, not you.

I now have "We want the funk. . gotta have that funk" stuck in my head. . yikes!

Funks suck. You are are doing phenomenal. What you are experiencing is just a little speed bump on this journey. Take it one day at a time, and keep on moving. You will get out of it.
