Bruises!
Holy cow I am so so bruised. Now that I am no longer feeling faint at the site of frankentummy, I've been able to really examine it and my progress. When I took off Myrtle the Girdle today before my shower I even tried on a pair of bikini bottoms to see exactly where the scar sat. With swelling these bottoms hit right at the scar line.
I am most sore today from hunching, my lower back muscles are screaming right now with my support garment off (it's in the dryer.)
Oh-I keep forgetting to tell you guys, I DID have muscle repair work needed, my muscles had separated all up the middle so he fixed that. I kind of knew it - there were certain ab exercises I just couldn't do before, even though I was strong enough to do much harder things.
Today has been a good day, I really feel a lot closer to normal. Thanks for all the love and comments!

Your scar is remarkably neat, you will look amazing once its all healed.
Oh honey Owch! It hurts me just to look at that bruising. Your tummy is going to look amzaing! The scar is nice and low, and all the extra skin is gone. So happy for you.
Your bruise sort of looks like Jesus. I'm pretty sure it's a miracle ;)

Lyla - OMG - I thought the same thing when I saw it very small on the side of my blog. I didn't want to say anything - but when I read your comment I realized it wasn't just me! When you look at it in bigger size - it doesn't look like it -But as a small thumbnail....I have to agree. Truly a miracle! LOL

Oh my gosh, it looks really painful! But from what you're saying it looks worse than it is (I think? I hope!). I'm sure you're really swollen right now, so please post pics after your healing is finished!
You looked great before Angie but man, when this swelling goes down your mama better not let you out of her sight!
I'm amazed your stomach looks so good. I imagined much worse the first week. Thanks for posting these - my extra skin is bringing me down lately, so it's awesome to see the possible future.
