We all have those times Angie. I am glad your back and I actually appreciate your honesty. I don't always want to hear that everybody just loses weight, no gains. I want to know that people are going through the same thing as me ( I had a 6 lb wt gain last month).

What a sad little vlog... but Angie, don't beat yourself up.

Remember, there will be times due to all kinds of things that we will shoot back up on the scale : the biggest thing to remember is it's NOT like old times.. you won't continue to go up, you will pull yourself into gear and GO DOWN again! You've already proved it to yourself you can. Totally sucky - but hey darl, you're human.

Glad to see you are back-- and your vlog was insightful. You're right: finding a balance is key-- I've exercised much of my life, and often gotten that mixed up with being able to lose weight.
The weird thing is, I've found the more intensely I exercise, the hungrier I get and the HARDER staying food choice focused becomes.
It is easy to trade one obsession for another-- and over-exercising isn't helpful with having a balanced life OR with weight loss in many cases. I KNOW of what I speak b/c I've been there.
A suggestion: limit exercising to not more than a hour a day and only once per day for the next 2 weeks-- but do exercise at least 3 times for 30 minutes. Having these minimums and maximums will help you find a middle ground without giving up altogether and without overdoing it.

Good luck and feel good-- and you know what? You can change the focus of your blog anytime you want. You can talk more about life, your job, your boyfriend, or your favorite TV shows! This is YOUR blog and you don't owe anyone anything in the process.

Take care!!

Angie...hold true to you. You don't need to be anything to anybody...if you stopped losing weight now...you would still be an inspiration to me. Look at how far you have come. Take care

No matter where we are in our journey or what path we take, life rarely takes a straight path. You're doing what you need to do for yourself and you're doing well.

Glad you're back.

Welcome back! It is true, you are not the number on the scale, and the daily/weekly fluctuations are meaningless in light of the Big Picture: Which is 90 ish pounds lost!!!!
And never going back to those old sizes.

You are an inspiration no matter what - and hearing that you are only human, like the rest of us, makes you only MORE inspirational.

Have a great week!

Hey- this was a great vlog.

I can totally relate. I am in the same boat re: exercise. I genuinely like it and I feel comfortable with it but I also a) over do it and b) rely on it to "absorb" extra calories from periods when I am not eating as well.

So that means my weight loss fluctuates a lot and I never know if I am eating more because I am hungry from working out more. Or if, during a bad week my gain is from eating or gaining more muscle.

It's kind of a love/hate but mostly love thing!!!

I'm glad you're back. There is no pressure from this corner. I just want you to be happy!
